The Oscars 2015- My highlights | Best Dressed| Best moments

I love this time of year. All the award ceremonies and LFW- the internet is just full of the things I love. The Oscar fashion and performances were just incredible this year, from Neil Patrick Harris in his underwear to Lady Gaga's exquisite rendition of the Sound of Music, here's my round up of the best fashion and moments of the night.

Best Dressed

Left to Right: Lupita Nyong'o in custom Calvin Klein, this dress is just pure class. The colour against her skin and shape is just so flattering.
Oprah Winfrey shows that curvier ladies can really pull off bandage dresses by looking fabulous is this Vera Wang Number. This hugs her top but flows out beautifully at the bottom. Plus her smile makes this outfit.
Jennifer Aniston has a certain glow to her as she graces the red carpet in Atelier Versace. Continuing the lighter trend that seems to be prominent this year, by wearing a shimmery nude dress. She oozes sex appeal with a very small slit up her leg and strapless dress- showing just the right amount of flesh.

 Left to Right:
Laura Denn's Alberetta Ferrenti dress was just to die for. It was incredible- I personally would've styled it differently, with an up- do, no clutch and no necklace. But wow. It's edgy and beautiful, my personal favourite of the evening.
Emma Stone wore a fresh citrus coloured Ellie Saab dress which  has got the whole internet talking. We can see why. The long sleeves and mesh  make this look, she's also pulled off a notouriously hard colour to wear. Well done Miss Stone.
Rosmund Pike continues to rock colour in this beautiful red bold number. It almost looks like Givency had sewn fresh red roses onto it. The front split is really unique and Rosmund wears it off wonderfully.

Battle of the Ballgowns

Lady Gaga and J-Lo both decided to go for a dramatic dress. Gaga has received many a critique for her red gloves- but what did you expect?! It's Gaga! Red gloves aside I love her dress. She only went a little quirky and not meat dress extreme for this event and I think she looks beautiful. Yes her Dress is dramatic but I like that she brings these extreme styles which we see on the catwalk to the red carpet. Fashion really is about expressing yourself and for that her outfit should be applauded.

Jennifer Lopez wears a more conventionally beautiful nude dress by Ellie Saab. It is truly amazing and it looks like someone has poured glitter all over the top and then froze time. Simply stunning.

Best Dressed Couple

Hannah Bagshaw and Eddie Redmayne both wowed in Alexander McQueen. The navy duo oozes sophistication as Eddie wears his usual contrast lapel. His beautiful partner is in an almost Egyptian style dress, the gold detailing and tassels make it something really special.

Best Performance

For me it had to be Lady gaga singing the sound of music melody. If you haven't heard it yet listen to the video below- spine chilling.

The Crisis Hotline Acceptance Speech- Done with beauty and Grace, well done ladies on all your achievements.

Those were my top moments! What were yours? N x
